Wow…
My husband went to Medan last Monday to do an audit in his Company’s branch office. And it is his hometown too. But, he didn’t get much time to spend for sightseeing or anything. Just go to the office and back to the hotel to work again and rest in the middle of the night.
Long story short, I plurked this in my Plurk, and my friends instantly ask whether they can ‘titip’ (can’t seem to find this word in English aaarrrgh) some food originally made from Medan. So, I SMS my husband about it and he’s okay with it. And yesterday, before coming home, my husband went to the places I mentioned to buy the food.
I never taste some of the food before… Just based on my friend’s recommendation, such as Durian Pancake *it’s sooooooooooooooooooooooo yummy for durian’s lover 
*, the others are Bolu Meranti, Bakpia Tamiang *made with Pork Oil*, Lou Poh Piang and Bika.
